AlsaPlayer is a new PCM player written with the ALSA sound system in mind. Support for OSS and ESD is in the works, however.
AlsaPlayer makes extensive use of multi-threading and supports MP3, WAV and CDDA input types right now.
AlsaPlayer's features include:
